About Elochukwu Ezenekwe

A seasoned environmentalist with more than 12 years of experience in climate change research, advocacy and consultancy, Elochukwu Ezenekwe currently works as a Senior Consultant for the Global Integrated Carbon Credit and Climate Change Adaptation Facility (GIC-CAF).

He worked for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as an Expert Reviewer for the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5), and was Special Adviser on Climate Change to the Anambra State Environment Ministry in Nigeria.

As a Business Development Consultant and Project Management Specialist, Elochukwu Ezenekwe has used his skills to develop and manage a variety of programs across sectors such as Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Agriculture, Environment, Fundraising and Charity, Emergency Response, Conflict Prevention and Peace Building, among others.

He is always excited to leverage on his passion, experience, and training to support programmes aimed at promoting sustainable development around the world.
